The Cross Border Cooperation (CBC) program "Romania- Ukraine-Republic of Moldova" was launched in 2007, as European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI). It is designed to strengthen relations between the European Union and its neighbors. Under this program, on October 2, 2013 the cross-border project entitled "Promoting sustainable production and implementation of good practices in the bovine farms from Romania, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine cross-border region" was onset in Romania through the signing of the financing contract and received the MIS-ETC code 1549. The project objectives are expected to be reached and implemented within 26 months, by the end of 2015.
Farmers, scientists, researchers, students, processors of animal products and field authorities and industry representatives are involved in the target group of the project in the three partner countries (Romania, Ukraine, Republic of Moldova)

The whole implementing budget reaches 2,621,122.00 EUR, out of which 90% represents the European Union contribution - 2,359,009.80 EUR and 10% - 262,112.20 EUR represents the co-financing provided by the project partners.
